Getting to Leelanau County
Traverse City's Cherry Capital Airport is the closest airport to LivelyLands events but can be expensive. Grand Rapids Airport often offers more frequent and affordable flights. For more details, visit our Getting Here page for information about getting to Leelanau County.
Getting to LivelyLands Events
LivelyLands events are located at 3 different venues over 3 days. Visit the LivelyLands Map to see where events are located. Check our schedule to see when it's all happening.
On-site parking is provided at the Saturday Outdoor Festival, please carpool for events and use street parking in Empire on Friday and Sunday.
Yes! Kids under 12 are free, welcome, and encouraged!
Tickets are available to pick-up at all LivelyLands events at the ticket booth. Just be sure to bring your ID. You are able to pick up all the tickets you purchased or you can assign them when you buy them so your guest(s) can pick them up upon arrival.
We want you to be comfortable for a full day of music and fun. Some items we suggest are:
Refillable water bottles
Blue Heron Mercantile will be onsite Saturday offering Mel & Fel salads, sandwiches and snacks for purchase but if you want to bring a picnic it’s encouraged! Leave your drinks at home though Bay Area Recycling will be there offering brews from Workshop & Lake Ann Brewing. Alcoholic beverages will not be allowed in.
The Welcome Party admission includes Texas Style pulled pork sandwiches, veggie burgers and sides and Bluegrass Brunch admission includes breakfast tacos and coffee. Come hungry!
Yes! Bay Area Recycling for Charities (BARC) will provide LivelyLands with compost, recycling and trash bins!
As long as tickets are available, we are happy to accept all major credit cards and cash!
Smoking is permitted in designated areas, only. This is a family friendly event so please respect the venues and each other by only smoking in designated areas and make sure to place all butts in the bins provided. Drop beats, not butts!
Camping gear (tent, sleeping bags, blankets, etc.)
Flashlight or lantern
Swim Suit to cool/rinse off in the river
Solar shower, if you don't want to bath in the lake like the locals
Dishes, cutlery, pots & pans
Biodegradable dish soap
Please also avoid using any disposable products that are not biodegradable. Bring a water bottle, a cup, and any re-usable dish ware you might need.
* PLEASE DO NOT USE SHOWERING PRODUCTS IN THE LAKES OR RIVERS!
Attendees are not permitted to bring alcohol into Saturday’s outdoor festival.
